Hayley Kleitz Nelson, Ph.D. Candidate

Johns Hopkins University

Welcome to my webpage!

I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University.  In the laboratory of Dr. Gregory Ball, I have been investigating the role of dopamine in male sexual behavior.  Specifically, I am interested in the extracellular release of dopamine in the medial preoptic area due to sexual motivation and performance and how the D1-like and D2-like dopamine receptor subtypes differentially control these behaviors.
